CONTRAINDICATIONS

Clients with a history of hyperpigmentation or hypo pigmentation. This is when your skin turns dark or white as it's healing after an injury to the skin.

If you are susceptible to hypertrophic scarring or keloid formation

Must not be allergic to Lidocaine, tetracaine or prilocaine

Uncontrolled diabetes, Autoimmune disorder such as Lupus, MS etc, healing disorders, lymphatic drainage issues

Psoriasis, Vitiligo,Rosacea, Melasma, Eczema or skin Cancer. A treatment cannot be done on areas effected by these conditions

If you have a pacemaker/Defibrillator

Currently receiving Chemo or History of cancer or chemo in the past 3 years

If you are taking blood thinners

Haemophilia, HIV/AIDS

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding (must wait 3 months post delivery and/or breastfeeding)

This treatment is only recommended on light-medium skin tones. It is not recommended on anyone with skin tone 5 or darker on the Fitzpatrick scale due to the higher risk of hyperpigmentation

You must not display HerpesSimplex Virus (Cold Sores/Fever blisters) and will have to reschedule your appt if you are experiencing an outbreak. If you have experienced Herpes Simplex in the past you must see your doctor & obtain a prescription for Valtrex & begin taking it 3 days before treatment and for 4 days following.
